IF: Captain

Here's a drawing of one of my girls. Shes pretty much leading her group of friends to a nice day of apple picking...

oh man..wow....daniel, why do you use 3 color cpencils like that? i'm seriously curious as i see that it breaks up the planes but, is there more to it?

"a girl standing on a rooftop with a bag of apples, a bird and a polar bear" is definitely not the first thought I have in the morning - this is very creative and inspiring! It kicks off so many story possibilities of how they got up there and what they're up to...

Wow, your work is absolutely amazing. What type of paper is that?

In response to your acrylic drawing (which is also beautiful) I have to agree about color pencils. I really want to try something with a more solid appearance. I'm thinking water colors, but I'd really need to sit down and practice (which is hard when you're a working mom of a toddler and a baby).
